VIDEO: Metal Mickey - Episode 01 - Metal Mickey Lives

Created by the British musician and record producer Johnny Edward, the robotic Metal Mickey appeared on a variety of television programs, the first being ITV's The Saturday Banana, before eventually gaining enough popularity to be given his own starring vehicle, this eponymous, lovably corny sitcom. Strangely, the series was produced by The Monkees' Micky Dolenz, though I'm sure he was hired based on his prior work in film and television and not because he coincidentally shared a name with the titular character.
